Volunteers hit the winter markets
Beanies on, brochures out — our community stall crews spent the weekend talking integrity, cost of living and how-to-vote basics across Victoria.

Saturday, 7am, four degrees: our volunteers were setting up trestle tables at markets across the state. By mid-morning the sausage sizzle was going, the how-to-vote explainers were moving, and the most common question was the best one — “wait, the Democrats are back?”
Yes. We are. And the conversations at these stalls are shaping what we campaign on: groceries and rent came up at nearly every table, followed by trust in government and the state of local services.
